On a star filled summer night
One did shine above them all
God's wild star shone so bright
Then we heard an urgent call
A voice said softly in our ears
"Even though you are so far,
You can help to ease her fears."
Our hearts like an open door
Guided by the Lord above
Sent to help His wild star soar
We pray for God to ease her pain
Know that we will always be here
When the tears fall down like rain
We will listen through the night
Share with us in times of gladness
We send all our love and light
Tears of joy we soon will cry
Our lives will be filled with glory
As God's wild star is lifted high
