When the walls seem to close in,
And in the darkest hour,
When you feel you've had enough,
There is a higher power.
He waits for you to come to Him,
And He is always there.
To listen and to understand,
He loves you and He cares.
Open up your heart to Him,
When you pray tonight.
Ask for wisdom and for strength,
He is your Guiding Light.
When your soul is crying out,
Don't lock it deep inside.
His love for you flows ever on,
It's endless as the tide.
Sometimes life can seem unfair,
Like a long hard road.
When your burden is too great,
He will share the load.
So turn to Him in times of need,
Reach with all your might.
Step by step you'll make it
through,
He is your Guiding Light.
