Thomas Laird - The CIA, Tibet, & The Cold War
A lecture on a hidden chapter of US Cold War history and its conflict with Chinese imperialism in the late 1940s. Thomas Laird is author of Into Tibet: The CIA's First Atomic Spy and His Secret Expedition to Lhasa and is currently working on a history of Tibet with His Holiness the Dalai Lama (due out in 2004).
