1. Create new file 400 x 400, Transparent background, 16 mln. colors. 2. Choose Preset Shape tool with settings: Ellipse Line width = 1 Line type - Dashed #5 (dotted line) Foreground color - #42884F Background color - white.
Draw any form (circle, ellipse, rectangle, etc.- it`s up to you). I drew the cirle. 3. Choose Magic Wand (Tolerance = 20) and select the white color. Add new layer (Layer 2) and Flood fill the selection with #B6DABE. Do not deselect! 4. Effects/Texture Effect/Weave with settings:
5. Go to Layer 1. Selections/Select All - Selections/Float. 6. Selections/Modify/Expand by 5. Add new layer again and Flood fill the selection with #B6DABE. Apply the Weave effect (same settings) and in the Layers Palette move this layer below Layer 1. Now you image will look like this:
7. Layers/Merge Visible. Rename this layer as "teacloth". 8. Create new layer UNDER the layer "teacloth". Choose Picture Tube - Rope (Scale = 25, Step = 15). Now we will draw fringes. Click in point #1, press SHIFT and click in point #2 (see pictures below). Then click in point #3, press SHIFT and click in point #4. Repeat until you fill approximately 1/4 of the circle. Don`t worry about the length of fringes - we will correct it later.
9. As soon as you fill 1/4 of the circle: Layer/Duplicate - Image/Flip. 10. Turn off visibility of "teacloth" layer (it will be the upper layer) and merge the rest ones. 11. Layer/Duplicate - Image/Mirror. Merge two bottom layers once again and rename as "fringes". Turn on visibility of "teacloth" layer. Save. 12. Go to "teacloth" layer. Selections/Select All - Selections/Float. Selections/Modify/Expand by 25 (more or less - it depends on the length of your fringes) . 13. Selections/Invert. Go to "fringes" layers and hit DELETE once. 14. On "fringes" layer - Colors/Colorize: Hue = 90, Saturation = 78. Merge Visible layers, save and tube the image.
