This tutorial was written in PSP 7. It assumes you have working knowledge of layers and use of selections. Please do not link to or remove images and or tutorial in any way and claim it as your own. Feel free to use a text link to this tutorial for learning purposes only!

You will need:
ZIP file with selections (unzip to PSP7/Selections) My dollhair tubes in one zip-file. My bow shape (save to PSP7/Shapes)

1. Create new file 350 õ 280, Transparent background. 2. Create new layer "body". Load selection body.sel. Flood Fill with light beige color (#E1CBBD - the first in the colors` palette). Don`t deselect! 3. Effects/Noise/Add (Uniform 7%). 4. Selection/Invert. 5. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Settings: |

6. Add new layer "dress". Load selection dress.sel. Flood Fill with your choice. Don`t deselect! 7. Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel. Settings: |

8. Add new layer. Write any text with Text tool. See picture below: |

12. Add new layer "hair". Choose Picture Tube and find hair2.tub (Scale = 80). Apply it and move it if necessary. 13. Add new layer "braids". Choose Picture Tube and pick up braid.tub (Scale = 100). Apply the tube. Your image will be look somehow like this: |

14. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Image/Flip. 15. With Mover tool move the second braid if necessary. 16. Choose Preset Shapes and pick up Mybow shape. Settings: |

17. Draw bows. 18. Turn off (Layer Palette) visibility of Layer 1. Layers/Merge Visible. Save. |

19. Create new layer eyes. Load selection eyes.sel. Flood fill with dark beige color #B89072 (the second in the colors` palette). 20. Selections/Modify/Contract (Number of pixels = 2). Flood fill with light beige color (#E1CBBD - the first in the colors` palette). 21. Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel. Settings are the same (step 7). 22. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Settings: |

23. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. 24. Choose Preset Shapes. Find the Heart shape. Foreground Color = #863636 Background Color = #BB4403 25. Draw the mouth in the form of heart (see picture below). 26. Add new layer. Choose Paint Brush with settings: Round, Size = 3, the rest options = 100. Foreground Color - orange (#E58701). Draw some freckles. |

28. Add new layer. Choose Preset Shapes: Ellipse Foreground & BackgroundColor = #BB4403 Draw a little circle on the cheek. 29. Effects/Blur/Gaussian Blur (Radius = 7). 30. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Move it if necessary. 31. Layers/Merge Visible. Save as a tube. |
