| Every time we would come ova to see u, u would tell me to cook so i would then i'd ask if u were hungry and every single time i would ask, u would say "No" but i'd always cook just that little bit xtra coz i knew that the minute we'd sit down to eat, u'd want to eat to. The time we came ova with some chinese food and u said that u didn't like chinese food. Dad told u to try this and he gave u the egg fu yung but u kept saying, "No i don't like chinese food." u finally tried it and that was it u asked dad wot it was and he told u about three times, then u told papa to remember it so he could get u some. but we left the container with u and u ate it all up. so much for not liking chinese food When we came ova one day and u told us to have some banana cake and we all thort yum, we got some pieces of cake and i actually took a little bit of it. then the next minute some of the bananas were mvoing, then we had a proper look and it had ants in it. Yuck. We didn't say anything we just all put our cakes on the table. When we went back to the table, they were gone. Mum had eaten them. We use to call ur boil ups a lucky dip because we never knew wot we were gonna get. We were eating some of ur boil up and i think it was Keri that found a slug. If it wasn't bugs it was sink plugs, even found a pot scrub in there one time. YUM! The time i was in the room with u, pretending to take pics of the room with this broken old camera. looking around the room going click click click. taking pics of the room. Next thing i knew i was looking at u thru the camera and u were naked. I was like yuck Nan u could've waited till i left the room. The way u use to tell everyone ova and ova again the story about Jaylin and does boys instead of doe boys. The day i took u to the warehouse and fell asleep in the car and when i finally woke up. u'd been in there for 5 hours. when i came in to see what was wrong, u were just at the counter and in ur trolley was 5 things. The time i took u shopping and I sat in the car and watched u come out of the shop and hop into someone else's car. That was funny Going to the garage with u. And u asking the man wot u got if u spent $20 at his petrol station and he said nothing, so u said "I'll just have $10 then" Embarrassing. when u use to come ova home and start pinching things out of my garden. coz they'd look beta in ur garden then in mine. and yeah u and ur old crusty lollies that u use to give us. The day u came to one of my birthdays and started larfing at the fact that my presents were wrapped in newspaper. I started crying and didn't invite u to another one of my birthdays. Dad did. The way u use to call Dad Panapa and Panapa Gina. The christmas that u gave us girls these ugly as earrings that i might add i still have to this day but i never wore them. The christmas u gave us these star sign pendents that weren't even our star signs. The way that you would go to the supermarket and if it was cheaper somewhere else u would say so loud as so everyone could hear you. The day we went to countdown and u wanted a tv and there was a whole stack of them but u made me carry this tv around the supermarket because u said that they might all get sold. The way u use to make me go to the counters of the supermarket and the warehouse to ask for the key to the toilet. The way u use to get mad at me and i u. Then we'd cry and it was ova. The way u use to always smell ur food if u didn't know wot it was. The way u use to roll ur top lip up so it use to touch ur nose. The time u asked me to dye ur hair then u moaned coz u said it was hurting so i told u to do it urself The way u always had food in ur fridge and cupboards. even tho it was growing legs and walking out the door. The way u use to keep things from papa and then say it was either dad or me who did it The way u use to try and talk quietly when u were talking about me. or wen u use to start talking in Maori if u didn't want me to know wot u were saying. But wot u didn't know was that i could kinda understand wot u were saying. The way we use to have to change the whole sitting room around wen u use to come ova, coz u wanted a comfortable sit outside so u could sit in the sun. The way u use to say That looks nice, or i wish i had one of those. instead of just asking for it. The way u use to pull out the OLD LADY card wen u didn't want to do anything. The way u use to sit outside and watch me wen i'd be doing ur gardens, coz u knew i'd pull everything out. The day i took u shopping and u wanted some chicken pieces. but not the one's the girl was getting for u. u wanted to pick ur own and they were the ones right at the bottom. The day u rang me at 11am to tell me u had 20 ppl coming ova and u wanted me to go ova and cook. when i asked u when they were coming u said "12". i got mad but i did it |
