| Notes; Like Southbank, this is a legendary spot for bikers and skaters alike, so again i very much doubt i can say anything here that hasnt been said before. Suffice to say it is a fantastic park, an abundance of concrete to ride, 12000 square feet in total, with the more recent additions or some wooden and steel ramps as well. You'll have to excuse the darkness of the pics, we didn't stop riding to get the camera till it was nearly dark! Being a private park it does have an entry fee, but it's easily worth it. It costs 5 per session or 9 all day. Sessions are 4 hours long and are from 10am - 2pm, and from 2pm till 6pm. It took us a while to find, so I'll include the telephone number and address to make it easier for anyone that wants to go; 01708 474429 Rom Skatepark, Upper Rainham Road, Romford, Essex. Features; Cloverleaf Bowl, Old school halfpipe (with vert extension) in capsule bowl, drained swimming pool, mogul section, snake run, competition bowl (bloody deep!), street section with various wooden and steel ramps, spines, volcanoes, minis etc etc etc. For more info check out www.romskatepark.tk |
