Some cried out their souls to save, others walked quietly on - still in a daze
Some looked down at their broken shells, others thought they'd found Hell
Death had a busy day today

Some babes in Angels arms were claimed, others sought refuge in the arms of thier moms
Some grandfathers stood tall and straight, as they walked on to Heaven's Gate

Some Firefighters and Police alike, were helping others walk to the light
Some others were still going about, to help those frightened when their lives gave out

Some passengers never understood, the price they paid was for our good
Some crew were bold and stood their ground, until the airliners hit the ground

Some tried to understand their loss, while others tallied up physical cost
Some lives will be forever changed, some will be forever maimed

To hurt this Nation with a cowardly attack, like stabbing unarmed pilots in the back
Thinking thier souls to Glory would go, thinking that Death would have no hold

So the Angels of Hell in fury did rise, to greet the terrorists who paid with their lives
We've a place "reserved" especially for you, to collect what you have coming due
