Freakish Fear
by Ruphalfa

The porcelain figurine
facing the world form its shelf,
the freakish fear captured
festering within itself,
a feeling of forgotteness
amongst the frills for the outside,
the fragile facade, a fragment
of fading feelings that hide;
to float away or fall behind
either fortune a folly to claim,
but the fancy foldings,
a filter for all to stay the same.
The flimsy fantasy, never
allowing even faith to rise
must stay facing forward
with freakish fear in the ey
es.
