My name is Rupam Krishna Dey. I live in New York. I am studying at LaGuardia Community College/CUNY (The City University of New York).  My E-mail address is: [email protected] I was born in laxmipur, Bangladesh.

My major is Computer science. This is my 2^nd semesters. I have already completed 10 credits towards my Associate in Science degree. I would like to transfer my transcript to Quince College/CUNY. This College is one of the best ones for Computer Science major in New York State.

I've learned about Maple 6. Maple is a comprehensive computer system for advanced mathematics. It includes facilities for interactive algebra, pre-calculus, discrete mathematics, graphics, numerical computation and many other areas of mathematics. I have also learned about IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet). The phonetic alphabet is a writing system in which each letter corresponds to a different sound in the language. I am also good at several application soft wares like Front Page, Word, PowerPoint and Photoshop.

I have been working my part time job at LaGuardia Community College/CUNY. This is a math lab located in E-building at LaGuardia Community College/CUNY. This lab is for students to use computers. Students come to use computer to finish their homework. My responsibilities are to assign students computer terminals and make sure the computers and printers worked smoothly without any problems. I have to help students with printing, using Maple 6, Internet search and e-mail account. Sometimes I have to give them card, which contain computer number. I have to check their ID's if they are validate.

I love to work with computers. My objective is to get a very good job in the field of Computer Technology after my bachelor's degree. I am working for achieving this goal.
