Using SBS Player Editor:

This application is for creating and modifying .dat files or editing players in those .dat files.
To create a new .dat file, simply just run the program. A blank team will be ready for editing.
The first available player will already be set up for editing. Simply enter the data in the edit
boxes and click on apply when done. This will update the line for that player in the team list
box. For batters, to switch between using DEF/ERR stats, click on the blue underlined label above
it's edit box. This will toggle the stat category as well as updating the team list header lines
to reflect the change. Changing editing of players can be done by clicking on the player line in
the team list box. This will load the players line into the edits for modification. To enter
pitchers, select the pitcher radio button at the top. This will change all the edit labels for
pitching stats. Switching back to batters is done by clicking on the batter radio buttons - it
does not matter which one is selected, they both do the same thing. If a player line needs to be
removed from the list, highlight the player line and click on the Remove button. This will delete
the players line from the team list. Adding a player can be done by clicking on Add Player. If
the roster has 34 slots, a new player may not be added. After a player has been added, it may be
necessary to move the position of that players line in the file. This can be done by clicking on
Player Switch. A form will pop up asking which 2 slot numbers should be switched. Select the 2
numbers and click on OK. The players lines will then be updated. If the numbers in the slot
columns are out of order, they can be reset by clicking on Reorder Slots. If a single player line
needs to be cleared, click on Clear Line to clear it out. Click on Clear All to start with a blank
team file. Loading and Saving can be done by clicking the button and choosing/naming the file.
Also, teams may be loaded from the command-line like with notepad.
