About The Regos
We're a family run kennel, focusing on mid distance mushing. Manny & Tammi are kept busy with their young sons Devlyn & Conor, 25-30 racing sleddogs, 2 Karelian Bear Dogs, 3 housedogs(including Radar), 2 cats and 2 horses. Tammi completed her BA in English with a minor in Spanish at UAF in May 2003 and went on to finish the Secondary Teaching Program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks to become a Middle School/High School teacher, certified in the state of Alaska. Tammi is currently a High School English Teacher in Fairbanks and just a few credits from earning her Masters in Education. Manny works as a Heavy Equipment Operator in Fairbanks and has an ardent love of horses and history, as well as dogs. While both run the dogs and work with the Karelians, Tammi is the avid sled dog racer and Manny is the Bear Dog guru. The Regos have made their home in Two Rivers, AK, one of the meccas of dog mushing.

Devlyn  is our oldest son who has been racing since he was 3. He ran in the 04-05 season for FJDMA and finished the season in 3rd place overall for points and took 3rd place in the 2005 JNAC. Devlyn went on to run his first 2-dog race at the 2005 Valley Funale and took 2nd place, missing 1st by only one second! He's since focused on the 2 dog class and will  be competing in the 2-dog events this upcoming season. Conor, his new brother, will be running in future races.

Thanks to all of you who have been rooting for us and following along on this rollercoaster ride!! We've managed to run the Denali Dash 120, the Solstice 100 and the Two Rivers 200, the Quest 300, as well as a few races at ADMA and TRDMA over the years.  Manny & I have plans of tackling some mid distance races, with our sights set on the Quest as early as 2008, as well as having some fun with sprinting and enjoying our beautiful boys.
