| SIMONE - Now here was one for the ages. SIMONE stands for Simulation One, which is a computer created girl made by some dork who dies, how sad. Now the main character in this pile of horse crap is a once popular director who is now out of luck. This director is played by Al Pacino, who is coincidently a once popular actor who is now out of luck. I did hear that it had a long run in the theatres though, a good 24 to 48 hours. So heres what happens, of course she becomes world famous and everyone loves her. Then everyone wants to meet her but they cant becuase she is in a computer, blah blah blah. Well of course eventually the truth is revealed but his career gets saved and he get back with his old wife, what a pile of crap. Here is my FAVORITE part of the movie though. This has to be the most user friendly computer program ever. The dork gives Al the program, which is on his hard drive, and Al casually puts it in his Hard Drive Drive, must be nice to have one of those. It over course works fine on his Dell or Gateway computer, which makes sense because it is a super complicated program. Well then Al somehow gets the computer the dork was using for it, and it has a sweet little keyboard set up, if you want the hologram SIMONE, just hit the old hologram key, you want her to change clothes or speak, hit the change clothes or speak buttons. This is of course very realistic, seeing as I wrote a paper today by simply hitting the write paper key. This was one of the worst displays of movie making ever, and I hate whoever did it......F for effort. |
