Runkel Bros. Chocolate and Cocoa Memorabilia
I have begun to collect antique items from this company - or at least pictures of some of the products and their advertising. I hope you enjoy the collection so far. There is no connection that I know of to my ancestors.
This is one of a series of trading cards which the company produced to advertise their product.
Runkel Bros Cocoa mix was often sold in these small tins
Runkel Brothers was founded in 1870, and was located on West 30th St. in New York City. According to a surviving relative the company went out of business in 1936.

The last picture is of a small tin. It's hard to imagine that this little tin is only 3cm wide, 5cm tall, and 2 cm deep.
