It was a colloid cyst in the middle of my brain which was causing my headaches. It was about the size of a grape (the red arrow is pointing to it in the picture).
Well, needless to say, I had to have immediate surgery. The worst part about it was that I had just started being a counselor at this really cool camp up by Yosemite, Gold Arrow Camp, and I was having a blast! But, I had to come home and have surgery as soon as possible.
The Sunday before I went into surgery, all my friends came over and we all had a great time, playing Clue (Miss Scarlett with the Candlestick) and then everyone shaved my head right after my buds Robbie and Justin gave me a blessing. It was such an awesome night! |
