Susan B Anthony Dinner on Feb 19th Our Fast Tracks annual dinner is quickly approaching. February 19 at 6pm will be the night to socialize, give out awards, learn more about each other through our annual Trivia Bowl, and share food, memories and future plans. This year's dinner will be at 333 Belrose in Radnor. The restaurant offers excellent food in a beautiful atmosphere. Click Here for more info. Please send those scinitillating tid-bits of information about fellow Fast Tracks members to Kristin Walton, this year's Trivia Bowl coordinator extraorinaire. Is there a childhood or non-running accomplishment (we have a championship horsewoman in our group), a slightly embarrassing faux-pas (like the time I, who had a previous career in horticulture, made a stand of poison ivy a water stop), famous relatives, interesting past lives. Send all incriminating information and supporting photos if you have them to Kristin "Sweetness Awards" are given out annually to those members who have gone out of their way to be giving or kind. Fast Tracks is known as a nurturing group of runners, sometimes with a humorous or sarcastic overtone, but nonetheless, supportive and thoughful. Please send me nominations for this year's Sweetness awards and a few words on why you've selected that person. Bobbi's email Mail me your RSVP and check for $35 made out to Fast Tracks by Friday, the 13th of February:

Half Marathon 2003 Group
Half Marathon Please e-mail Jeanne to be sent a training schedule. This year we will be coordinating some of our runs with the Marathon 101 Group. All members will be asked to provide beverages for some of the longer runs and be responsible for your own drinks initially. 2003 Half Marathon Schedule |

Marathon 101/M101 2003 Marathon 101 Schedule We will be training for distances skewed to the Chicago, Marine Corps, New York, and Philly fall marathons. Even if you're not running one of those races, one of those schedules can likely be readily adapted to your fall marathon. This year's schedule was a little tricky due to the lateness of the Philly Distance Run (September 21!). Throughout the spring and summer, we'll coordinate long runs together. As always, M101 members are asked to be responsible for organizing at least one run, including plotting a course, e-mailing me the details to distribute to the group, and setting out water, GatorAde, and after-run munchies. It's perfectly acceptable to "buddy-up" with someone else for these duties, particularly when we get into the longer runs. I'll be hosting the first couple runs to get things kicked off! Because we're using the general Topica distribution for this year's M101 messages, I will clearly mark each distribution as M101-related in the Subject line. I'd also like to keep my own separate distribution list of M101'ers, so if you're planning to run with M101, please e-mail me at [email protected](and include the marathon you'll likely run, if you already know). Also, if you already know what date you'd like to host a run, feel free to let me know, and I'll pencil you onto the schedule (your course details are not needed until the week of the run!). I will send out a reminder e-mail the week before our 4/26 run, with details on where and when to meet. I'm really looking forward to seeing old friends and welcoming new M101'ers! Good running! please e-mail me at [email protected] |

Baby Sitting Procedures
Babysitting will be cancelled if the weather is bad. If it looks like rain at 4PM I will call everyone who has reserved babysitting and verify that the babysitting is cancelled. As is previous years the kids will play in the grass on the West end of the field and then eventually in the sandpits later in the summer. Please dress appropriately and remember it gets chilly in the evening. Please also make sure to mark your toys/snacks/ sippy cups with your name for easy identification. There is tightened security at the school so they dont let you in to use the bathrooms. Plan accordingly. Please contact Dawn C. with any questions or concerns. |
