| Fifty years ago Lina Inverse left behind all that she knew. In that time much has changed. The life she led and the person who she was is no more. The stories of the Dra Matta and the Dragon Spooker are nothing more than children's fairy tales. Lina even has a new title. Now she is known as the Sorceress Supreme, a wandering mage loved by the common people. Since parting ways with her friends Lina has spent the majority of her time traveling in the Outer Territories, helping people, searching for treasure (albeit in a less destructive way), and occasionally still taking the odd job. But things have a habit of never staying as simple as we would like them to. Life always promises more plot twists before the story is complete. Much of what was only available to the Inner Territories has expanded out into the rest of the world and there is still much to be explored and discovered. While Lina is off on a mission for the PMS she makes a stop in a neighboring town for the night. There she bumps into an old friend and a new adventure begins.
