Cadence Drabble

November 17th, 2006: V's alliteration speech in the Fingerman Alley is an allegorical orgasm, cresting its climax with the slash of the poster and coming down into afterglow with "The only verdict is vengeance..." Write a drabble monologue with the same cadence. Can be any subject, any speaker, any length.

"Behold. Before you, a formerly frightened child transformed from a victim to a vindicated young woman without fear. This creature, who by your hands became a shadow more solid than the girl you destroyed. But the creeping terror that you burned from my brain has been replaced with the realization that while you have given me far more than you took, I can never forgive you. You are a monster... and my savior. I cannot hate you, because you have made the night my friend. But you can never again be the man I trusted you to be."

Evey moved away from his steadying hands.

"I always thought of you as a man of many words. But there's nothing you can say that will bring back my V."
