Bon Jovi Bounce Tour 2003, Kiel 17 June - review

Live was really good.. They played songs like Heaven, The Dolphins Cry, Selling The Drama and I Alone...

The first part of the show was acoustic, and then they changed to electric.

Acoustic part:

Bon Jovi started with a great cover of John Hiatt's Have A Little Faith In Me - Jon said after the song that they had some surprises. Then a good version of Love For Sale. Livin' On A Prayer and Wanted Dead Or Alive were also very good. Jon started Someday I'll Be Saturday Night slow and then the guys joined.

Tico started a great version Something To Believe In while Jon took some maracas. Jon couldn't remember the exact lyrics so he looked down on his paper a lot. Bed Of Roses was a bit different version than the usally acoustic version of the song, because Dave played a different riff and that sucked. Not much to say about Everyday - it was just as good as the electric version. Then came Diamond Ring, and for some reason I can't take this song serious. Blood On Blood was really great (one of my favourites in the acoustic part).

The Distance was very good (Richie forgot some harmonics right before the last chorus). Jon pointed down on some banners that said Fever, and asked Hugh if he could play that - then they played it. Livin' In Sin was a really really great - probably my favourite in the first part. Heroes was also very good. Tico chilled with his cigarette and his percussion in the most of the acoustic songs.

Electric:

Joey was the first electric song and during that, there was a film on the screen - I like Joey live more than the album-version. Misunderstood was very good - Jon hit the I-I-I-I's without any problems. Jon took the microphone up to Dave when In These Arms started, and then Dave sang verse 1 (and 2?) - also a really great version. Runaway rocked as usual. You Give Love A Bad Name - in the end of that the audience sang the chorus as usual.

The audience freaked out when It's My Life started. Born To Be My Baby also good. Then came I'll Sleep When I'm Dead and Rockin' All Over The World and they rocked. Raise Your Hands rocked totally - the audience freaked out. That was the last song berfore the encore.

Encore:

Dave started to play the solo he always play before Right Side Of Wrong, but after that Jon changed it to These Days, and Dave was like: No not that one. After the song they wanted to leave the stage, but Hugh pointed out on of the banners, and then they finnished the show with Never Say Goodbye (acoustic).
