RULES



Welcome:

First and foremost I would like to welcome you to the Gundam Wing RPG: Ragnarok. Feel free to look around and view the site before joining. If you�re not a member and are interested in joining, or have a question about the site, you can post it on the message board or e-mail me about it. This is an email based rpg, meaning you email me what you want to do, and ill update you. Email me if you have any questions.

Joining:

Joining this RPG is simple. First, send me an e-mail at [email protected] the topic must say �joining� or it will be trashed and ignored. In it you must have the following. Your characters name(first and last), gender (male or female), The side you want to join,your email address, and if you want, a description of your character. Also, be sure to scroll down to the organizations section, each organization gets a choice of different mobile suits. If you dont tell me what u want, i'll automatically give u a leo.

Traveling:

Okay, the way to travel in this game is first to email me where you want to go. If you are on earth, the most it will take to get to any normal location is 3 days, In space however, it is different.Some special locations take longer to get to, or can only be accessed using special m-suits. For example, if you want to travel under the ocean, you have to have an amphibious mobile suit, or else a gundam. To get into space you have to have a space pod, or shuttle.

Buying & Selling:

If you want to buy something all you have to do is e-mail me, and make sure you have enough money (called credits in the game) to buy that weapon or item.Lastly, you must travel to the location that that item is being sold at.

Weapons Rules, and Equipment laws:

In order to be realistic, the addition of this rule will start a new era in the game. Namely, unless you posess a special, specified carrying attachment for a weapon, then you are only allowed, at any given time to have one gun type weapon equipped to your mobile suit, as well as one beam type weapon(beam saber/sword). You may equip other weapons as well, but only in the form of a maximum of 2 shoulder weapons. There are a few exceptions to this rule(weapons that fall into none of these categories)but the weapon itself will specifically state such.

Moving on, another important rule you should know concerns planet defensors. In order for you to bring planet defensors into battle, you must have a planet defensor carrying case. Each of these cases will carry 4 defensors, and a carrier must be attached to the suit...permanently.You may move planet defensors from suit to suit, but not planet defensor carriers. NOTE: In order for it to be effective, you must have 3 planet defensors minimum.Plus, each suit may only carry a maximum of 8 planet defensors into battle

There are some weapons in the game that will have a note at the bottom of their description saying "this weapon must be attached to the suit" what this means is that upon buying said weapon, and intstructing me as to which m-suit it's going to, the weapon will become "attached" to the suit-permanently. This said, choose wisely.

Training:

In the past, this RPG has suffered from alot of "dead" players, by this I mean that people will join, go to a location with decent training and just sit for weeks, or months on end. This rule will end this, basically, if i do not hear from you for more than 2 weeks, I will assume you have had a training accident, and that you are now comatose, lying in a hospital somewhere.

Also, when emailing me with a request, DO NOT mail me the end request! for example DO NOT say some thing like
"hi, i wanna learn advanced training"
if you are currently hanging out on earth. Before you tell me you want to learn a skill, you'd better be at that location that the skill requires. My memory sucks, I make no guarantees if you don't follow the rules i've set out.

Battling:

Alright, there will be basically three types of battles.

1)There will be friendly battles, in which the purpose is to raise your stats,

2)Deathmatches, where the idea is to kill your opponent,

3)salvage matches, where you wound your opponent, and then can strip him of some of his/her mobile suit's weapons. Also, for friendly battels you can have

A)regular, where u can use all ur weapons in moderation,

B)close combat, where only short range weapons can be used.
Out of m-suit combat may include that of sword fighting

Attention all!!! a new type of battle has emerged. This battle is a type of ambush. You may only ambush someone however, under certain conditions.
Conditions:You have been searching for a gundam, and someone has found it before you.
You were within 5 days of finding it yourself
The winner of the battle will then receive the gundam.
Note: the organization the winner belongs to will be compensated for the repairs of his mobile suit

Characters Stats:

Okay, in this RPG, you have character stats for Pilot skill, speed, intelligence, and endurance. Everyone starts with 100 in each category. Also, everyone, no matter what faction starts in the Sanc Kingdom, as it is a nuetral location and i decided this is where I want you to start. .

Skill:


Your pilot skill can be described as the level of training you have received in the piloting of you mecha. The higher your skill, the more complex maneuvers you will be able to pull off.

Speed:


Your pilot speed can be described as how fast your reaction time is. Even a slow suit can appear much faster if you have a high speed level.

Endurance:


While in your cockpit in battle, or just training, you tend to get knocked around a lot. A pilot with a low endurance will pass out rather easily, while one with a high endurance will be able to endure more pain.

Intelligence:


The level of intelligence you have is, well, how intelligent you are; someone of high intelligence will draw up better strategies, and react better to changing battle situations. Someone of low intelligence will tend to charge blindly into battle

Organizations:

Basically there will be four major organizations. Oz, ESA,WhiteFang, and Mercenaries. Here is a basic description of each.(Note: for every member you get to join, you will recieve a bonus 1000 credits; have them state who got to them to join in their joining email.) group.

Oz:

Oz is the most powerful faction on earth. They control the majority of Earth. With their large empire, they are quickly enhancing their technological abilities. They also control one of the two known spaceports. All Oz get a weekly salary. Start with leo or maganac m-suit.(see organizations page)

ESA:

The second major faction on Earth. Is the only known organization to have underwater bases. As such, they are the only group to have quality, amphibious technology. All ESA get weekly salary. Start with a leo, or Picies m-suit. (see organizations page)

White Fang:

The White Fang is the strongest force in space. Mostly comprised of angry colonists, and colonies' sympathizers. Want to seperate themselves from the Earth, but if necessary will do whatever is needed to keep the colonies safe. Excel in spacial technology. Start with leo, or aries. All have weekly salary. (see organizations page)

Mercenaries:

Mercenaries are not prejudiced about where their money comes from. Although they do get a salary, it is only paid bi-weekly. They will be updated every day. They arent payed as frequently due to their alternate sources of income. Start with a leo. (see organizations page)
