Smithing & Mining

Smithing is a great way to make money and yourself weapons and armor. The higher you get the more things you can make, and start using different materials. You start off using bronze and at level 15 start using iron, 30 is steel, 50 is mithril, 70 is adamanite and 85 is rune. You can only make daggers when you start using a new material or just start smithing but then hatchets then helmets and so on. To get the materials needed to smith you need to mine the ore. To mine all you have to do is have a pickaxe in your inventory and left click on the rocks. It might take a couple shots before you get anything but as you advance levels you can get ore more easily. to make a bar you need to take the ore to a furnace and smelt it. Some ores requrie another ore smelted with them. Here is what you need: Bronze 1 copper ore 1 tin ore , Iron 1 iron ore (50% chance of sucsess) Steel 1iron ore 2coal, Mithril 1 mithril ore 4 coal, Adamanite 1 adamanite ore 6 coal, Rune 1 runite ore 8 coal.
