Aardwolf Player Class Proposal - The Monk
"...and then in what seemed to be an instant, the old mans hands flew towards his opponent.  One striking the head, the other landing squarely on the young students chest.  A dry snap was heard, and the blood began to pour from the student's face.  Later, I found out that the young man suffered 3 broken ribs and nose.  I learned that day that you do not cross the master."
Monks train for years, honing their bodies and minds to defend
themselves.  They place their faith in their skills, learning to defeat oppenents with their bare hands rather then weapons.  They are one with the world around them.
Monk Class Skills
The monk's skills are broken down into differnent styles of combat, each having their own
benefits and drawbacks.  The Styles are of Dragon, Tiger, Praying Mantis, and Monkey (gainable groups).
Special Monk Skills
Monks have a few unique attacks that come from their years of training.  They do not use weapons but rather rely on the skills and techniques they learnt to defeat their enemies.  If a monk ever were to take up a weapon, he/she would not be able to attack as quickly, and not be able to position themselves for an advantage oin combat.  Thus, many monks abstain from weapons and use their bodies alone as weapons.
Grappling:  Monks have a special combat technique which allow them to direct the flow of combat.  When a monk uses and succeeds with a grapple attempt, the monk can take very few actions while maintaing the hold.  (No Physical Attacks / No Offensive Spells).  The monk can release the hold at any time (grapples can be held through many rounds of combat).
Combat Styles:  Before combat, a monk can determine how he/she wishes to fight.  This "fighting sytle" is automatic when declared.  A monk, while fighting can change combat styles, however they do require some time to reposition themselves and re-align their footing before any extra actions may be taken.
Combat Ablities:  Monks are also very good at following up attacks with another.  For example, a simple kick may allow the monk to follow up with several other attacks that if the oppurtunity presents itself.
