| Ft. Worden is located just outside Port Townsend and is always worth a stop. The old miltary campus is well kept and has some interesting stories. It is now home to a museum, park, recreation facilities and camping, as well as a youth hostel and hosts various retreats. We stopped in and climbed around in the old cement fort. There is also a lighthouse and great views accross the sound to Canada and the surrounding mountains. |
