The Last week of June we drove from New Hampshire to Seattle via the Trans Canadian Highway Rt.1.  Entering Ontario on the hottest day of the summer we were interviewed by local news reporters while taking a break from the heat at a  rest stop. A few hours later we were jumping in fresh water lakes by the side of the road. Everything dissapeared and the vast expanse of Canada opened up before us. It was an amazing time!!

Most of Canada is flat. We drove for many hours a day with some stops in small towns and at Tim Hortons for coffee. Tim Horton (a famous Canadian hockey player) started a chain of coffee/ doughnut shops that can be found in any town. At night it is where the locals gather to chat and hang out in their cars. Thats all there is!

Most of the pictures from this part of the trip are temporarily if not permanently corrupted due to a computer problem. Hopefully I can fix and post them later. We saw bears and moose and trains and the most amazing sunsets every night, awesome!!!
