A gas explosion ripped through the heart of the British sleeping quarters late Friday evening at the Olympic Village. A culinary spokeswoman said that the cause had been traced to a brutal mixture of Fosters lager and Texas chilli. The toxic cloud lingered for several hours. No one has claimed responsibility for the gas ,however fingers were pointed at the British weightlifting team, specifically those entered in the clean and jerk and the finger pull competitions . The US was quick to denounce the attack claiming that their athletes were probably the intended target because after all the world revolves around American athletes. Nobody was hurt.
