I arrive in Rockford at 7 am. I stop at Kirby's dinner, where I'm to meet with George at 7:30. George is fashionably late, he arrives about 8 am, we shake hands and begin;

R A- "Let me start by saying congratulations George on your selection to the Big Brother house. Are you getting nervous?"

Geo-"Pretty good coffee,huh? Me and Kirby go way back,I mean wayyyyy back man. You know I use to work here, before I became a roofer."

R A-"Really? How 'bout them nerves George?"

Geo-"Well , I'd have to say the answer to that would have to be "misty" ,I guess."

R A-"I don't think I follow you."

Geo-"You know, like when it's not quite raining and not quite dry, it's misty."

R A-"Ok"(confused)"Let's carry on shall we? 3 months,10 people, locked in a house with no contact with the outside world, how will you react to those conditions?"

Geo-"Well it's pretty warm there, I might sweat I guess."

R A-"What I mean is, how will you interact with 10 total stangers being locked in that house."

Geo-"I'll just tell them I"m married, I'm outa bound's."

R A-"Why would you say that?"

Geo-"I don't know why,but my marriage always seems to get me outta jams."

R A-"Well, let me just wish you good luck on your journey, George."

Geo-"Thank you, the whole towns rooting for the roofer too!"

 We shake hands and say goodbye
