I was walking on the parking deck

When Kevin disclosed

The saddest news today

 

Immediately we prayed

Let the lives be preserved

Justice done swiftly and rightly

Evil crushed in utter destruction

 

Hijacked plane hit North Tower

A second hit the South Tower

Yet a third hit Pentagon

Perhaps some more attacks?

 

The world has apparently witnessed

The most barbaric act of terrorism

On the twin towers of the big apple

 

I can see the billowy smoke

Rising up into the sky

Declaring the darkest day for the nation

 

No longer holding the composure

Both towers collapsed

Gone is the past glory

 

A nation humbled

Brought to its knees

In prayer and petition

 

A nation roared

Tide after tide of adrenaline

Rising everywhere

 

A nation ready to strike

Seeking due justice

Restoring peace and stability

 

Let the scum be weeded out

Let them get their wish of death

If not a thousand times over

 

Hell is not meant for all

It is divinely prepared first and foremost

For the Evil One and his agents

 

Unbearable heat

Unquenchable thirst

Unending suffering

 

Oh Lord Almighty

We gained some more understanding

Of thy supreme justice

Which we tended to disagree at times

 

Hallowed be thy name

Thy kingdom come

Thy will be done on earth

As it is in heaven

Amen and Amen
