Just in Case

Just in Case was a last minute bot for January Kilobots. The original design was to make a small, low, and highly durable tankbot.

Here is the cast iron shell with its copal drive motors. (which would later be swapped with 22:1 Minimotors)

Heres a side view picture to show size and ground clearence. Standard AA battery is shown for scale.

Heres what it looked like in its finished state with the plow attachment in front.

Disaster the day before we leave for the event! The barello ESC that JIC was using mysteriously died, so you know what this means.... last minute rebuild!

Here it is at the event, a simple servo powered wedge.

I'm too lazy to make a separate page for the second version of JIC so im just going to put it here.

The original bot was going to feature a large spinning saw but that broke down too so a last minute wedge was in order again.

This is what is looked like at the March event. It had major electrical problems and went 0-2.
