Our sheep are all dorsets. All of them are old-fashioned dorsets. As you may know, means they are not cross bred with other breeds, such as Columbia's. All our sheep are registered, and we have detailed records going back to 1980.
In our flock we have primarily used Carson Rams. Our goal, as breeders, is production sheep. Our flock is accelerated, lambing Three times per year. We are not strictly production breeders, as we activly participate in 4H. We show both at the county and state fair.
We are located in central Indiana, Just outside of Martinsville. We have two farms located five miles apart from each other. They are Run by the family, with three generations working together. Bill and Judy Rumbaugh run the main farm. Their daughter, Mary Gidney and her husband Brian Gidney run the other. The Gidneys are also helped by their children Blake and Jessica.
