| Hello, Welcome to the official home on the web for Lamar's Rum and Cigars. Given that Rum and Cigars are so often created in proximity, they are among the most perfect companions. There is nothing in the world like enjoying a beach with some friends while enjoying life's pleasures. I feel that people today work too much, they just don't enjoy their self like they should. Everyone goes to work their whole life, then they retire at an old age if their lucky, at that's it! This website holds the belief that we are only here a short time so we should make the most of this thing called life. With all the bad things happening in the world right now we all need to make a special effort to have a good time. It's never a bad time to go sailing, fishing, or to sit down and watch "Key Largo" or "Casablanca". Whatever it is you like to do, get out and do it! Within the pages of this site you may think you see ghosts wondering around. But in fact they are not ghosts, they are indeed a part of Rum-N-Cigars. At the Rum-N-Cigars bar don't be suprised to see Humphrey Bogart sitting at the bar smoking a cigar talking to Elivs about the perfect spot to fish in Hawaii. Meanwhile James Dean is serving drinks to Ernest Hemingway who has just returned from a hunting trip somewhere in Cuba. Another thing you might see that looks like a ghost is the beach before it was taken by tourist and snow-birds. You might be thinking that we are a little out of touch with reality. But for your knowlege, us here at Rum-N-Cigars enjoy the best things in life, and we try to forget as must as we can about that nasty word called "work". If you like the beach, sports, gambling, music, or the Sopranos we have something for you here. I hope this attempt at a website will inspire you to take your shoes off and escape from the real world for a while, even if you are just turning off the lights and having a glass of Rum and dream that you are sitting in the south of France.
