  • 01.04 Hi there. It's me again. And so another year of life slides on by. Good and bad things make it all interesting, and 30 creeps in on me from around the corner that I wasn't paying enough attention to, dammit! I am packing my bags for foreign lands again, and it is off to France for me for February. I am toying with the idea of doing one of those bloggy things that seem to be all the rage, but I suppose that will just be a minimalist, yet more frequent version of this page. Might be interesting, since I will be doing it from lands afar.

  • 09.03 So, I finally made it through the yuckiness that was worst summer of my life, and have returned to San Francisco and the bliss of my lovely life. I am even starting to walk again, and am in happy spirits, hooray! Since I have been back, I've been taking some classes, catching up with friends and have been loving my pug silly. Other highlights have been nice weather and record buying with lovely out of town guests like this guy. New adventures will be coming soon, I promise. Now that I've got these legs working, the intergalactic travels shall begin again.
  • 06.03 I have been galavanting about for a year and a half now! I was having a great time, and seeing all kinds of gorgeous earthly things, until I fell down really, really hard in Portugal and busted myself up pretty badly about the femur. See pretty before and after surgery x-rays. Ouch! I am hoping things are starting to look a little better in there now. As you can see, they did some extra accidental bone-breaking during the surgery :( If you are going to fall down and require surgery, try not to do it in Portugal. If you must, seek consolation in the fact that the views from the hospital window are quite lovely. We never made it to the Semana Santa festivities in Granada (where we were headed from Lisbon), but maybe maybe maybe next year, provided I avoid slippery surfaces and other hazards.

So, I ventured to Cleveland, via two weeks in London, and am healing with parents who are nice enough to drive me to the doctor and feed me delicious things. I did manage to get to Spain and Greece before getting broken, so I will live vicariously through the nostalgia for now, until I am back up and travel-ready again.

  • 04.03 Valencia: The Lost Photos, just before the big bad fall.
  • 04.03 - Greece! I visited my dear friend Kirren there, and lived the night-owl lifestyle with him for a week. I enjoyed the Acropolis, moped riding on the beautiful island of Aegina, and writing funny hip-hop songs with him in his studio. Bonus: Greek graffitti - they like our leader over there as much as I do!
  • 03.03 - Had a great time at Eugene's wedding in Barcelona with Alberto and his posse of international mystery people. I stocked up on my much-needed Gaudi fix for the next few years... mmmm... Gaudi. Also ventured to Valencia to spend a couple of fun-packed days with Amparo and Tim. Actually, this was after Greece, on the way to Lisbon, but it looks better here with the rest of Spain ;)
  • 02.2003 - Jenn and I holidayed in the sunny land of floridian sunshine, visiting my mom in Naples for 10 days. We also had a kooky Spaniard houseguest for an exciting stint of the same time earlier in the month who liked to drink wine and cook us various delicious things.
  • 01.2003 - I now have a gorgeous new nephew named Maxwell. I also had a action-packed fun trip with Albert through California, the Sierras and Death Valley all the way down to Las Vegas and back over to Santa Monica. See pictures here.

  • 04.2002 - Moving! Eeek! I am now officially living in the beautiful land of storage, where I hope all of my things are having a good time without me for awhile. It was a monumental 3 years in that lovely 14th Street house, but I can only look forward to how much even cooler our next dwelling shall be.
