| My name is Angel, I am 24 years old from Southeastern Kentucky. I dedicate this site to Aileen Carol Wuornos. Aileen was born February 29, 1956 in Troy Michigan, she was raised by her grandparents, her mother Dianne abandoned Aileen and her brother Keith and gave them to her parents to take care of, they raised them as if they were their own children. Aileen started her life of crime at a very young age. She was used and taken advantage of by other neighborhood children. She was raped by her father's friend at the age of 13 and had a son at 14. She began prostituting around the age of 13, she was kicked out of her household and sent to home for unwed mothers, after she left there, she was living in the woods, sleeping in the snow, with one blanket, one pillow. At the age of 16 she hitchhiked to Florida because of the warm climate. She had a few run in's with the law and spent a little time in jail. When she reached her late twenties, she began to have an interest in women. The first one, Toni, who she adored, took advantage of her, Aileen bought her a pressure cleaning business and Toni ran off. Then she met another women in a Daytona Gay Bar The Zodiac, the girl was 24 year old Tyria Jolene Moore. For Aileen, it was love at first site, they began somewhat of a strong relationship. Not too long after, Aileen made the biggest mistakes of her life that will change her life forever. Seven Men were murdered in Central Florida, Aileen was responsible. The first man, Richard Mallory supposedly raped her, which I believe that was true which made Aileen snap, from all the torture she endured from previous Johns, she just snapped. Six other men were murdered. After all the men Aileen has been with, none of them in the past were murdered or hurt in any way, my beliefs are she was provoked in killing those other men. Murder is wrong, I strongly believe that to be true, she made some horrible mistakes, evil mistakes. But everyone makes mistakes. The cops were surveilling her, waiting to see who she will kill next, to make her out to be the first female serial killer, a product of books and movies. She was convicted of the six or seven counts of murder and sent to Florida's Death Row. I have watched both documentaries THE SELLING OF A SERIAL KILLER and AILEEN...Life and Death of a Serial Killer, and she talks about the crooked cops, and the corupted evil society that we live in. And I believe her, Society has royally railroaded this woman, turning her out to be a monster, which she was not. The Media made her out to be the Damsel of Death and a cold blooded monster. I believe in my heart, Aileen Wuornos was isn't as bad as the media and the cops made her out to be, I have read letters she has written, I have done a lot of research and I found out she was a very intelligent woman, very loyal and an awesome friend to her best friend Dawn Botkins which is a very awesome strong intelligent woman. I understand how it must feel to lose a best friend. This is my tribute page to Aileen, a true warrior who fought the system. Rest in Peace Aileen, you will never be forgotten and you will always be in our hearts. |
