| Who exactly is Joshua? |

"Joshua", in some shape or form, appears constantly throughout the game. He is a young boy with short, blonde hair and blue eyes, clad in a white dress shirt and navy tie, hat, and shorts. Jennifer first meets him on the bus she suddenly find herself on. He gives her an imcomplete storybook and asks her what happens next, before running off-leading her to the orphanage. When Jen awakens on the airship, he tells her that he is the "Prince", and she must do as he says or suffer. He also claims that he wants her to remember a promise she made long ago. |

| The real Joshua never appears in the game, save for a faded photo. He was the son of Gregory Wilson and loved anything to do with flying. His father would often write stories for him, which he greatly enjoyed reading. He would also often go out in the fields to help his father farm. Joshua died under unclear circumstances, though it is hinted he fell ill, thus it may have been an illness that eventually killed him. It was believed for some time that he died on the same airship as Jennifer, but that is still being debated. His death caused his dad to go slightly insane. |

After Gregory rescues Jennifer from the airship crash, he starts to think she is his dead son. He calls her "Joshua" and even dresses her up like him. When Wendy is able to convince Jennifer to come live at the orphanage with her, it is possible that she also took over pretending to be Joshua out of pity. Either way, she was eventually led to start abusing him and manipulating his fragile state as "Joshua" to train him to be her loyal pet, "Stray Dog". |

| After losing her position as Princess of the Aristocrats to Jen and being humiliated, Wendy again disguises herself as Joshua and brings "Stray Dog" to the orphanage, where she orders him to kill anyone. When Jennifer is the only one left, Wendy reveals herself, taking off her disguise. It was also Wendy dressed as Joshua who lead the teen Jennifer to the orphanage in her "dream", trying to make her remember their oath. |

| "Joshua" is also the name give to the bear that used to belong to the boy of the same name. It was given this name by Wendy, after Jennifer gave the bear to her in order to seal their pact. The bear is also called the "Bear Prince". |
