What's with the airship?
Many wondered how and why Jennifer suddenly found herself far from the orphanage and trapped in an airship. It is viewed by the children as a giant fish, swimming in the sky.  This strange airsip was first spoken about in the 1930s by local kids, who believed that if you went to the park at night, a stray dog would gobble you up, and you would become trapped forever in a zeppelin in the sky.  Jennifer lost everything she had in an airship crash when she was a child, leading to a series of unfortunate events in her life.  But the memories of these events, as well as the accident that led to them, were long forgotten to her.  Thus, as she relived her memories through a dream, her recollection of the orphanage and the airship intertwined, causing the rooms on the airship to parallel those in the orphanage.  The kids at the orphanage also used to play "airship", and though she could never bring herself to join in, that may have helped her mind come up with airship-orphanage setting.
