| Age: 16 years old(in Jennifer's dream) Hobbies: Medicine, cleaning The oldest of the children at the orphanage, she doesn't seem to have been part of their group. She loved to help out Mr. Hoffman and wanted to remain at the orphanage to continue helping. Often seen in the sick bay, she would tend to the many wounds the kids received. She left soon after Mr. Hoffman, presumably with Martha, and thus escaped the massacre that occured there. |

| In Jennifer's twisted memories, Clara is as critical of her as Mr. Hoffman and in the end, becomes a mermaid monster and is killed, much like the others who left the children. The tear in her chest in this form represents how the doll and fish were cut in half and put together to make the mermaid for the monthly gift. Even though she was an orphan too, most of the kids viewed her as a "lady", which they associated with a pure and beautiful mermaid. Jennifer often misinterpreted her interactions with Hoffman and thought he was molesting her. Some still speculate that this fact might have been true, though it does not seem likely. | ||||||||
