| The Races |
| There are thousands of different races that habituate Fidelis. These are the ones that are playable (so far.) Message or email me if you want to see a new one. Also, keep in mind that the races with stars beside them are recommended, as the Gods will give you better abilities if you are their own personal creation (Ex: Mica favours angels and devils, Una favours elves) |
| *Humans: Humans were the first race created, and remained Godless and primative until Domithica claimed them as his own. They are very good with modern technology, and are basically the average characters. *Demons: Huge and powerful, Risdometrus created the demons. Intellegent and powerful, demons make great soldiers, but are not great with magic. Demons do not use weapons. *Elves: The elves are the most graceful of the races, and the best of magic. Created by Una, they are not very strong, but are neverless extremely handy to have around. *Fairies and Imps: In Fidelis, fairies are the female and imps the male versions of sprites. They were created by Feori, and they are typically light-hearted and playful, but also have inane magically gifts that they don't need to ask a God for (creating pixie lights, speaking to plantlife, general minor, useless spells.), in addition to normal abilities. They can be from 1-4 feet tall, and can't use weapons that are too big for them. They have tiny butterfly wings. *Hybrids: Hybrids are, as the name implies, crosses between animals and humans, created by Mica They can be any animal form, but always have a fairly similar size and shape to humans. Typically, they have things like animal tails, heads or face parts, and claws. They are extremely strong and good with weapons, but just about useless with magic. If given a powerful magic, they usually will mess it up, or be unable to make it work. *Angels: Angels were the beautiful, serene creatures created by Mica. They resemble humans with long, feathered or bat wings of any colour. They are great with magic, are very intellegent, and use weapons as well as a human, but they are extremely rare. The only way to gain an angel as a character is to ask me (Sade) and have it approved. *Dryads: The Dryads were people who bonded with trees, and usually resembled them. Created by Lytsis, a Dryad is the only creature more beautiful and agile than an elf, and also more powerful. They have long, flowing hair, greenish skin, and eyes that glow like jewels. They are the most powerful magic-users of all the races, but are good at just about anything. EXTREMELY rare, you can only have a dryad character if you ask me (Sade) and I agree. A boy Dryad is called a Trent. *Devils: The devils were created by Mica to be his soldiers. They have wings like fairies, the claws and fangs of hybrids, Elvish faces and bodies like demons. However, they are stupid, and get no magical abilities. They aren't much for personality, and quite often are very violent. Vampires: Cursed to forever exist off other beings blood, vampires are quite powerful, but have a number of problems (Death in sunlight, daily requirement of blood, generally disliked.) They must offer blood to a living mortal to sire a new vampire, and new vampires lose all the natural pluses they would get from their species, though magical abilities remain. Ghosts: Ghosts are beings who died, but did not want to continue to the afterworld, for whatever reason. They look exactly as they did before death, but are unable to touch or hold physical objects. A character who dies in an RP can decide to become a ghost. They, obviously, can't use weapons, and are very clumsy, having trouble moving around without a body. However, their power with magic increases, being entirely sustained by it. Lycanthropes: Similar to hybrids, Lycanthropes are humans who can become a certain animal during times of intense emotional stress, or extreme emotion. They do not, in fact, transform under a full moon, but their power is at its peak during this lunar allignment. They can control themselves when transformed, but have a lot of trouble at it, and sometimes lose their grip. They are otherwise very average in inate ability.
