| Sir Fred had once been standing near a tall elm tree which had been
struck by lightning. It felt as if that same force was now coursing through
Fred-Hannah as she the chain and pendant settled around her neck. She noted
that her hair was standing straight out from her head, forming a golden
blonde halo.
She also noticed another woman in the room. She was directly in front og her, with pale blue skin and a pale blue gown and bright white eyes, levitating about a foot off the ground. "Freedom - at last!" the woman said with a friendly smile. "Who - who are you?" Fred-Hannah asked, a bit frightened - not only by the strange blue woman, but by the fact that she too was now hovering a foot up in the air. "I am Chelene," the woman said, "And I am of the Mountain Faerie. Many years ago, Belboz tricked me into trapping myself in that necklace. He taunted me, saying only the most powerful of sorceresses could free me - and now you have." "Sorceress? Um, I'm, I'm no sorceress," Fred-Hannah replied, ducking her head and blushing. "Perhaps not yet," Chelene told her, "But I can sense the tremendous potential you have." As a surprised Fred-Hannah considered this, Chelene continued. "For freeing me from this prison, I hereby bequeath upon you its special power!" "Power?! What sort of power?"
