Astra doesn't recognise most of the names, whether of people or of
places, but it seems clear that this Pack is a group of were-creatures.
That in itself is interesting, if not obviously helpful. Then the Crystallic
is mentioned, though, and Astra really starts paying attention. She is
disappointed when Jack leaves before she can learn any more. She has many
questions, among them: What is the Organization? How does Jack know
about the Crystallic? Then Fred comes in and Astra scampers over to
tell him her news.

She has enough sense to wait till they are in their room before she tells
him.

 Over-excited,
she pulls him over to her table, where she thinks they can't be overheard,
and starts talking.
