Where are they?
They arrive on Terra Prime, near a long dead village.
Belboz the Necromancer, a ghost, is in the process of cleansing the town of it's dead bodies to release the ghosts within the town so they can move on.
The two girls, Belboz and Fred, meet the ghost....but faint before anything really meaningful can be said.
See, the transformation that Elaine worked upon them goes deeper than first appearances would lead. Belboz the girl is now a nymph and Fred is now a Hamadryad.
They fainted because their life force is fading due to not having a tree to support it.
Belboz the ghost put them near some likely trees and the fading girls latch onto the trees, bind themselves unconsciously to it....and forevermore to Terra Prime.
Anina of Terra Prime, a hamadryad herself, was called in to aid the new ones in their transition and transformation adjustment.
