....while a mystery woman lies unconscious in the Iris Estate, our
threesome begins to reconnoiter this brave new world in which they have
found themselves
But not for long as their eyes grow wide as the horizon fades into nothingness.
Mouths open in shouts of surprise and shock at the nothingness rushes in.....and
all fades.
For a few seconds.
The nothingness engulfs in shift order as a final cataclysmic collapse
happens and the "reality shard" the heroes find themselves in is consumed.
The Champions are pulled by the residual effects of a mysterious book's
attempt to magically subsume their teleportation in the first place, naked
and unarmed, to a room within a magical crimson pyramid......as well as
several others. Hurts and "bungled edits" done by the user of certain barrister
are undone by the book (even though it's somewhat bollixed up right now,
mentally, it edits those who it snatches up by reflex.....for the best
results for "consumption" later).
The Lord Frederigo D'Honaire that had mistakenly snatched Jarlath's
Astra, believing that she was "his" Astra get's teleported along due in
large to his virtue of being an analog of Joan (remember, Joan was a Fred
before being turned female) and gets dragged along. Woozily, he looks around
and his eyes grow wide in shock at seeing the others (including two Astra....one
of whom is....profoundly pregnant).
Here are the others who also got swept along with the Champions
of the Reality Shard
The Astra Thessamer who'd been a "guest" of Tarin Gazin looks woozily
around, having been still asleep before getting teleported here. She'd
been having a vision of her goddess telling her if she wanted redemption
for herself and the children growing in her belly (yes, the same thing
happened to her as did happen for the Astra who'd ended up with Malachi's
group) that it lay in a man named Jarlath and a "manfox." Once redemption
was found, then she'd be free to live life with her new love, Fred (who'd
sired the children in the first place). Then, she saw a vision, by her
goddess, of where Fred was and at the last two seconds before the shard
collapsed, their hearts touched......
Rowena and the woman known as Thelma are also there....and appear restored.
Why shall be explored.....later.
Finally, there are three rather large (man sized) red whiskered
foxes in the room with them all....and have a rather....disturbingly intelligent
look in their eyes...... Fred the manfox of Terra Prime as well as his
two wives (Alicia and Alicia 3) had been on vacation.....and were having
a great romp running around....feeling the wind whip through their fur
as they ran. Now, after a loud noise and a shocking fading.....they were
here.
