Terra 49
(As the Fur Flies)

Praxithea - This nymph used to be a female necromancer named Hannah who in turn used to be a male knight named Frederigo D'Honaire.

See, back when she'd been Fred she ran afoul of her world's Belboz, she got transformed into a three year old girl. Belboz finished the process by causing her to forget her former life, leaving only a three year old child in mind and body.

Seems that Belboz here had made a pact with the dragon. There's more to it than just this, a deeper game if you will. Belboz was playing the Dragon for a patsy. However, the pact was that in exchange for access to the lower Caverns (home of the most exotic herbs and vegetation on that world), the necromancer would guard against those who'd attempt to disturb the mighty beast. Those like the now transformed Fred fell into that category, and thus the reason why he was now a she.

Years later, the young girl (named Hannah) blossomed into a lovely lass with a knack for casting spells. Belboz, instead of fobbing her off to some hick peasant family, he took her in and raised her as his own niece, concealing the truth from her. Belboz had fallen in love with the cute tyke, you see. Hannah was taught the ways of magic and had become a mighty magic user, second only to Belboz in magical might.

Then, one day, the dragon played a part in the kidnapping and transformation of Hannah into a nymph now called Praxithea. The nymph, still remembering her old self (unlike her time as "Fred"), was force magically to dance in a rival's castle courtyard.

See, it was part of a bigger plot that she got caught up here into, you see. The nymph was one of Five Dancers of Stryke (an evil mage, rival to Belboz and a real SOB). Stryke was tasked to play guardian over the dancers while the Demons were away, to harvest her and the other Dancers later on, sometime. In each Dancer (all either a transformed Fred or Astra) was both a Key Component to the Dark Tower AND a slice of Eden fruit. Yes, that means they couldn't be returned to "normal" nor could they die.

Stryke, a real piece of work, went one further by revealing the truth of Hannah's origins. Revealed that she'd been a Lord Frederigo D'Honaire. That was to (and did succeed in) bringing distress to the dancing nymph.

But soon after that, she and the other dancers got rescued by Artizza's group of Champions.

Much remains to be sorted out here.
