The UkeKitsune Mailing List Round Robin
Chapter 1
by Star

Please note: this is not a real fic – it’s a representation of our love and devotion to the art of torturing ruru….. ^_^

Star: ::clears throat:: well… as there is finally a ru-uke list, I thought I’d write a fic for it except….
Hana-Ling: she’s crap at writing fics ^_^
Star: ::glare:: yes well… aside from that…
Hana-Ling: she’s going to pretend that she doesn’t have enough time, when in fact she can’t be bothered to get up off of her lazy >censored<
Star: ::locks lingling in cupboard::
Crystal : So you are going to write a fic?
Star: um… I was thinking we might all write a fic together… y’know… a round robin sorta thing ^_^
Vspirit:  Oh! I’m sure it’ll be great!
Star: Vspirit’s so nice *^^*
Crystal : So – what’s it going to be about? ::Perks up:: A half naked horny Rukawa seducing some unsuspecting Sendoh into bed but secretly plans to kill Sendoh in revenge for the death of his brother, but ultimately Rukawa falls for Sendoh and they have to over come many hardships to escape a life of slavery… oh yes, it’s good….
Sushi-chan: No…!  A fantasy world, Rukawa is a beautiful and powerful magical being, in harmony with nature and loved by all – one day he crosses paths with a human boy – Sendoh obviously – but in order to be with him Rukawa must give up his immortality and the life he loves so much and become a human being!
Nagyra:  Why Senru?  Make it a Hanaru ^_^ Amongst humans on earth walk vampires, dangerous creatures of the night… Rukawa, a young fledgling vampire is accidentally trapped one day and cannot escape from the blazing sun that is fast approaching.  Sakuragi, an old and powerful vampire, senses the presence of Rukawa and finds him, saving him from the light and falling in love with his distinctive personality…  Anne Rice will be so jealous ^_^
Pastles:  ::snorts:: Rukawa-uke indeed… make it senhana!
Star:  ::runs for sick bucket::
Pastles:  Hanamichi is the only person on the courts who attracts Sendoh’s attention with his winning smile and charming personality…
Star:  ::stares:: Charming personality!? ::Gags Paspas and locks her in cupboard with Lingling::
Micchiko:  How about a Mitru?
Laree: ::bounce bounce bounce:: yes!  Starry write a mitru!  Right after you’ve finished my Anmit……… ::glare glare glare::
Star: eep! ::Runs away from lali’s battle aura::
Crystal : And so?
Star:  Um… um… um… um…. ::wrings hands:: you guys are putting too much pressure on me! T_T
Anduril: ::bounces on Star and squashes her flat:: Get on with it already!
Star: ok… ok….

“It was a long time ago, during an age of dragons and knights and noble kings, that a young boy set out…”

Vspirit:  The young boy is Rukawa?
Star: Oui oui

“…to seek his fortune in the city.  To his name he had only the clothes he wore, an old dagger and a few bronze coins in a leather pouch…”

Sushi: How many coins?

“…barely enough to buy a loaf of bread.”

Sushi: Aww…. That’s too mean!  Give him more!
Star: …..

“To his name he had only the clothes he wore, an old dagger and enough bronze coins to buy a jet plane, which he did and he flew away to Iceland and lived there happily ever after, living in a log mansion and zooming up and down volcanoes on the back of a moose until he died in a terrible accident involving a large tree, a gigantic snow drift and the Spice Girls.”

Sushi:  There’s no need to be sarcastic -_-

“…and a few bronze coins in a leather pouch – barely enough to last him a week.  His father lived alone, since his mother had died two years ago, in a small village in the country of…”

Vspirit:  Malaysia!
Sushi:  Singapore!
Crystal :  The Philippines!
Laree:  Australia!

“… Yugoslavia .”

Laree: What!?

“The young boy, whose name was Kaede, loved his country dearly.  The great hills covered in grasslands or forest, the myths and legends that haunted old buildings…”

Kai-rei:  Wait wait wait – hold on a second!  Yugoslavia!?  We know nothing about that place… you can’t set it there!
Star: ….

“…in a small village in the country of France .  The young boy whose name was Kaede loved his country very dearly.  The great hills covered in grasslands and forests, the myths and legends that haunted old buildings.  Most of all he loved the sun that warmed his back, and the language of his people that rang sweet and clear in his ears.
But his father was poor and growing old.  There small plot of land was no longer…”

Crystal :  You’ve used the wrong ‘there’.
Star: T_T

“…yielding enough crops for them to sell.  And so Kaede had decided to go to the grand city of Paris …”

Sol-Chere:  Oh – that’s so funny!  Grand is the French word for big, so you’ve written ‘to the big city of Paris ’ mwahahahaha – oh the irony is killing me ^.~

“And so Kaede had decided to go to the promise-filled city of Paris to seek his fortune.  But the road before him would be long and hard, with unconceivable dangers.  A young and inexperienced boy of 15 surely would have no chance to reach his destination.”

Crystal :  No!  Make him younger… so it’s more terrible and awful when the bandits capture him and force him to be their sex slave as they travel…
Star: ::waps Crystal with rolled up newspaper::

“At the same time as the boy first set out, another was also contemplating the long road to Paris .  An honourable knight, born and bred as a noble in the French countryside.  His family ruled the local village in which the boy Kaede had lived all his life, they were well known among the locals, many a time Kaede himself had stood at the foot of the hill and gazed in awe at the stone castle far above him.
The knight was the eldest son of a rich man, loved dearly by his family who had high hopes for him to follow in his father’s footsteps.  He delighted in people, with a keen interest for language and exploration.  His horse was a great white mare of a docile nature, which came eagerly running across the field whenever the young man approached.  He was pleased with life, but couldn’t help but hear the sound of the wind tugging at his heart.  He loved his family dearly, but he wanted more.  The forests and plains for miles around he had explored with fascination, but now it was far too familiar.  And one place drew him like a magnet, so much so that the name was almost an obsession beginning to fester in his brain.  And it wasn’t long before he came before the parents he loved and told them of his plans to leave for Paris .
They didn’t try to stop him, nor beg him to reconsider, they merely accepted his plans, and when the morning came they kissed him goodbye.  There were tears, of course, much sorrow and promises of letters and a swift return.
But finally when the sun was high in the sky, Akira reined his horse around and faced the long road, and whatever might lie ahead.

Star: To be continued.
