| hehe.. although slam dunk isn't really a love story, but people are still wondering.. who will be with whom at the end? will sakuragi finally could be with haruko at the end? | This pairing is probably the most famous pairing in Slam Dunk. Sakuragi fell in love with Haruko at the beginning of his school year after he got dumped by a girl. He likes her enogh to even joined the Shohoku Basketball Team, and to show her that he's a great sportsman. (though he didn't know what basketball was at the beginning of Slam Dunk.. ^^;) Everyone could see Sakuragi is in love with Haruko, but the one who Haruko likes is Rukawa. This love triangle sure is complicated.. =P Well, they look cute together that's for sure. Haruko treats Sakuragi as one of his good friends. It seems like he is her best male friend... ^^ On the other hand, Sakuragi is willing to do anything that could make Haruko happy. But who will tell the girl that he likes her that much?? -__-; |

| This pairing seems kind of impossible... ^^; Sure Haruko liked Rukawa since when she was in jr. high school, and she still likes him very much now. She is impressed by Rukawa's amazing basketball skill, and his looks of course ^^ But on the other hand.. Rukawa doesn't even notice Haruko, so it's obvious that he won't return her feelings... The only thing that is on Rukawa's mind is basketball. All he dreamed is to become the No. 1 basketball player in Japan. | Haha... I think there's something going on between these two.. ^^ Remember in manga or TV that when Ayako first arrived at Shohoku's gym, Rukawa actually greeted her with sort of a small SMILE!! And Rukawa never smiled except in manga #29. Strange huh? Ayako is 1 year older than Rukawa, and they stuied at the same jr. high school. In Slam Dunk, Ayako seems to be Rukawa's cloesest friend. | Haha... another probably soon to-be couple in Slam Dunk! Let's see.. Miyagi liked Ayako ever since in the first year of high school. He tried to go out with other girls but failed everytime.. Miyagi gets jealous easily when other guys approach her. He really likes her alot ne! And he blushed when Ayako cheering up for him. (how kawaii!!) ^^ But on the other hand, Ayako doesn't seem to show any sign of affection towards him. She treats him just like everyone else.. Well.. anyway, let's just hope that both Miyagi and Ayako will become a couple someday in Slam Dunk.. ^^ |

| Now.. this pairing is not as famous as other couples in Slam Dunk. But still.. they look cute together.. (forgive me miyagi-kun~~ ^^;) Kogure is a kind and charming person. He is not as "manly" as other Slam Dunk characters such as Sakuragi or others.. But that's why it makes him a special guy. We could see few scenes where they stood together, or cheering for Shohoku on the bench. I believed they are good friends, but will they develop more deep feelings for each other? We'll see... ^^ |

| This pairing is one of the famous Slam Dunk yaoi couples, too! We could see during their first year in Shohoku, before Mitsui had his knee injury, they were close friends.. Kogure even went to hospital to visit Mitsui when he had his injury. Then we see in manga #8 or in TV that when Mitsui wanted to destroy Shohoku Basketball Team, Kogure reminded him what his dream is, which is to lead the basketball team to become the No. 1 team in the nation. Mitsui startled at his comments, but he just didn't want to admitted it.. yet.. Well, anyway, I think this pairing is cute, and both of them are good looking, too. ^^ |

| This pairing is not as famous as others.. ^^ But they are pretty good friends. Kiyota is wild, Jin on the other hand, is completely opposite of Kiyota. We first see them went to Shohoku's ball game by bike. There's a funny scene where Kiyota jumped off the bike, then Jin hit him on the back.. haha.. that's funny ne! ^^ Anyway, really don't know how to describe this pair... but i guess they would be a good couple ^^ It's possible. |
