Show your RUHS spirit and dress up for each day's theme: - Monday - Pirate Day - Tuesday - Camouflage Day - Wednesday - Bling Bling Day - Thursday - Western Day - Friday - Class Color Day The dress code will still be enforced. o College Fair - October 28 You should have gotten a flyer mailed to your house about the upcoming College Fair at RUHS in the Sea Hawk Pavilion (AKA Big Gym) on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 7:30-9pm. Seniors and their parents will be admitted early at 7pm with student ID. There are over 100 colleges participating. The back of the flyer includes a partial list of schools. All students are encouraged to go to the fair to get information about opportunities after high school. o PLEASE Sign Up to Help at College Fair The PTSA is DESPERATELY trying to round up volunteers for the College Fair on Oct. 28. A few people signed up last week, but there's still a BIG list of slots to fill (see below). Many of the slots are only 1 hour long and some are before or after the Fair so you will have plenty of time to work a shift and still attend the College Fair yourself. Dinner for College Reps: - 1 person for dinner set-up in Faculty Lounge, 1-3pm - 3 people to pick up food from donors, 3:30-5pm - 2 people to serve dinner, 4:30-6pm College Fair in the Gym: - 6 people to set up gym, 8:30am-noon - 2 people for before Fair work, 4:30-6pm - 4 people for before Fair work, 6-7pm - 2 people to work Fair, 7-8pm - 2 people to work Fair, 8-9pm - 3 people to work clean up, 9-10pm Please contact Marianne Carlton-Felix, PTSA Volunteer Coordinator, at mcarlton@kpmg.com if you can help. o Check Out Back to School Night Link Back to School Night is Thursday, Nov. 4 starting at 6pm in the Auditorium. Note that the Friday after Back to School Night, Nov. 5, is a minimum day so school will let out at 12:20pm. There has traditionally been a minimum day associated with Back to School Night, but this year it has moved to the day after the event. o Help Freedom's Answer Increase 2004 Voter Turnout To earn community service hours and help increase the 2004 voter turnout in November, sign up to be a part of Freedom's Answer in Room 219.
