The public is encouraged to attend. The first hour will be dedicated to board and staff dialogue followed by about two hours of dialogue between the public, the staff, and the board. According to an article in the "Easy Reader" this week, the state is increasing the amount of revenue per student; early estimates indicate this could bring in an additional $300,000 to the district. Thus, the necessary cuts in the district budget might be less than originally anticipated. The letter contained additional information about the Career Center and a list of Summer School options. If you did not receive the letter, please contact the school (we received our letter on Friday). o Fall Registration Forms Must Be Downloaded The letter from the school also indicated that registration packets will not be mailed to houses nor picked up at the school next year. This affects all elementary school children in the district. Make reservations for the benefit at http://www.rbef.org. - RBEF also hopes to support the AVID program. AVID is a class that helps students prepare for college. Hopefully, this class will be offered at both middle schools and the high school next year. - Donations to RBEF can be directed to a particular program or school. - ALL money raised by the RBEF goes directly to benefit the kids in our district. It frees up dollars from the general fund so the district will have money to keep teachers, principals, and class size reduction. Please support RBEF to keep our district strong. - Call Ondine Fortune, RBEF President, at 543-1874 or rbef@msn.com if you have any questions. o Order Senior Memories Video By June 1 - Add Grad Photos Later Tuesday, June 1, is the last day for the Grad Night Senior Keepsake Video offer. Once your reservation is made, you can take as much time as you need to select your favorite photos and get them to Tribute Video Productions. This means you can wait to include photos taken at graduation! Fax requests to 949-498-7186 or call Tribute Video Productions at their toll free number, 888-284-0004. For each $169 Memory Video that is ordered by a RUHS family by June 1, the Grad Night Committee will receive a $50 rebate.
