There are a number of dates open that need to be filled with either a whole group (10 people, 5 per shift) or individuals wanting to earn money for their favorite school organization (athletic, class, department, scholarship, Career Center, Band, etc.). You can make $40 per person per shift for your organization. Bingo is played every Sunday and Tuesday in the Bingo Room on Diamond. The district newsletter mentioned above has more details, but the basics are to send emails to State Senator Debra Bowen at Senator.Bowen@sen.ca.gov and to Assembly Member Mike Gordon using http://democrats.assembly.ca.gov/members/a53/mailform.htm and tell them to make funding for public education a higher priority and to stand by the commitment of Proposition 98 that guarantees schools a minimum level of funding in the state budget.
