A staff member from the show mentioned the 5pm show on Channel 13, so that is your best bet to record. The show airs at other times and channels, but it is unclear if they will have the RUHS show. So, reset those TiVos now! o Last Chance to Turn in Leader for a Day Applications on Jan. 3 The deadline to turn in the Leader for a Day applications was Dec. 15, but Mr. Soohoo tells me he will still accept them on Tuesday, Jan. 3. If you didn't pick up an application in Room 219 before the break, you can try emailing Mr. Soohoo at redondoasb@yahoo.com. If he is checking email, he might be able to send you an electronic copy of the application. (I have a paper copy of the application, so if you really need a copy, contact me and we can work something out.) Leader for a Day is a mock City Council Meeting on Wednesday, Mar. 8, involving RUHS students primarily in the 11th and 12th grade (but, Mr. Soohoo will accept applications from younger students). Chosen students take on the role of Council Members, City Department Heads, as well as Chamber and Community Leaders. The topic for the meeting this year will be "How do we get clean beaches and clean waters in Redondo Beach?".
