Kathy Swift, RUHS parent, sent me this info on additional
bus lines that Redondo kids might be interested in.


There are 2 other lines that the kids also use:

130 - catch it at Mickey's deli and it goes through Hermosa and
up Artesia to the Galleria. Handy for kids that live along
Artesia corridor but away from rindge (also it is usually
easier to get a seat at the 3ish us)

232 (?) - For kids who want to stop off in Hermosa for a snack or
shopping.  Catch at Prospect, it goes down to PCH and out along Aviation
- great for kids along Aviation all the way to Manhattan Beach Blvd.

All the bus schedules are available at both libraries and the small
brochures fit well into purses and backpacks.

If kids do not want to get a bus pass or do not qualify for a pass
(non-resident) they can get the tokens ($9 for 10 tokens) at the
cashiers window at city hall. I have my girls always have a couple
in their wallets for friends coming with them to the house after
school.
