Project work

Image processing: currently working on a project in Digital Image processing under Dr.R.K.S.Rathore, Dept. of Mathematics, IIT Kanpur.

Graph Theory: Developed software to find spanning trees of any n-dimensional graph and deals with Euler graphs and graphically solved the “traveling salesman problem”. This is part of the course Graphs and Discrete Mathematics.

Mathematical Software: Presently doing a project under Dr. Pravir Dutt Dept. of Mathematics, IIT Kanpur, it deals with solving the partial differential equations.

Mathematical Modeling: Presently working on project related to mathematical modeling of Advertising in various Media.

Computational Methods of Engineering: Developed software (using C) to solve set of equations using different methods and numerical differentiation and Integration and other computational aspects.

Human Resource Management (extra):  Did a project on the HRD department of renowned five star hotel and won the best project award in that course.

Technical Arts: Designed the “ Variable speed acupressure machine” completely mechanical along with five other teammates. Won the best project award in the whole batch.

Programming Skills
I regularly work in UNIX/Linux/WindowsNT/Solaris environment. I am competent in large implementations for C, C++ and VC++ programming and familiar with HTML and MATLAB.

Interests/Hobbies:
Swimming and Diving, Reading novels and topics in theoretical physics, Solving puzzles, Cricket, Volleyball,Listening to music  etc. 
 
Extra-curricular Activities: 
1.Acting cultural-secretary of our institute during summer and winter 99’.
2.Played a major role in organizing ‘Antaragni 2000’ the annual inter college cultural   festival of IIT Kanpur.
3.Institute swimming team captain for the last four years.
