Thank you for choosing to browse our Medical Supplies line of Products.

Below is a list of products.

Potion: A potion made in some alchemists basement; its a general formula, but few know how to make it themselves.  It comes in a small vial about the size of a shot glass that contains a mild mixture that can restore 50 HP.  This is recommended to be used as a self-administered item; that is unless you are trained in its use (chemist/medic), where then you are free to administer this product upon another.  Otherwise allow a medical doctor or other trained professional to do his or her duty.  [3-Ded!]

Hi-Potion: A reasonably large flask-style bottle about the size of ones palm that contains a very potent formula which recovers ten times that of a normal potion (500 HP).  Once more, it is orally taken and it must be administered to oneself unless trained in its use.  Its taste is so awful that it induces a short series of coughs (dont use while trying to be stealthy!)  [3-Ded!]

X-Potion: Brewed by very specialized alchemists or even via corporate venues, this powerful concoction is administered via long-needled, single-cylinder syringe.  The needle often scares most people away from using this invaluable potion.  Extremely expensive and thusly best saved for emergency use.  Injecting yourself with this will induce rapid healing of all injuries and can restore recently broken (critically damaged) limbs to full health and use.  WARNING:  X-potions will not restore dismembered (chopped off) or destroyed (HP = 0) limbs.  For this, you will need a Limb Brace or a Hospital  [3-Ded!]

Limb Brace: As the name entails, it is a brace used for either your arms or legs in order to keep them braced and allow them to heal.  The use of a brace should be made sparingly, as they are not in high demand, it is rare to ever find one outside of a hospital.  Use this item from the inventory and apply to only a crippled limb as to not waste its effects.

Old Soothing Remedy: (Can be renamed later.  Special thanks to Dellas RPer for inspiring this item.)  This is an old remedy made of all natural ingredients that, when added together, can make a cream that soothes the itch and burning of insect bites, burns, and other skin-deep ailments.  Slowly regenerates a small amount of health over time. [3-Ded!]

Phoenix Down: A feather from the mythical Aeon known as the Phoenix.  When this feather is administered within the first minute of death, it can revive the fallen victim.  Item cannot be used on yourself.  (You cant use something if youre dead.)  WARNING:  Unlike typical FF games, if you die, regardless of party members at the end of a battle, youre dead.  Same goes for computer-controlled party members.  The only way to revive a permanently dead member is to carry that person to a clinic or hospital within 15 IRL minutes of the person dying.  (This timer starts from the instant the character shrieks his or her death scream; so when the phoenix down will no longer work, you have 14 minutes or less to bring the fallen character to the hospital/clinic.  Hospital is much more expensive, but character is revived with full health, instead of a percentage of HP.)  [3Ded!]

Elixir: There are three types of Elixirs.  While this chemical compound can be found and acquired through battling with powerful monsters and collecting their blood, Shin-Ra and Wutai have their own concoction of this invaluable item.  A pity they arent for sale, but prices would run in excess of 20,000 Gil if they did.
The kind collected from monsters must be drunk; its complete effects are only guaranteed to work 50% of the time and the effect is gradual.  Shin-Ras concoction is found in a double-helix style syringe and must be injected; the fluids running through your veins will feel like acid, so youll be immobilized momentarily and screaming in intense pain before finally, the drug-induced bliss kicks in as all your woes are taken away; results are 90% guaranteed.  Wutais version is simply known as the Water of Leviathan; it has the slowest effects of all three, but results are 100% guaranteed.
Primary Fire:      Use on Self
Secondary Fire: Use on Target
Affects: One Target
Cost?
Adds: HP/EP/MP/END Regeneration
Period: (Blood Elixir 1 minute) (Shin-Ra Elixir 5 seconds) (River of Leviathan Continuous until full)

Note:  Blood Elixir can heal you fully, but if you pick up damage before it is finished working its magic, it will not recover that extra damage.  Hide somewhere until it has finished working its magic.

Megalixir: This is a special dust powder.  The maker and origins is completely unknown.  Sometimes intelligent monsters are holding one of these; if you can get it before they use it, its yours.  Using it will create a series of spore clouds; everyone in these clouds will recover all stats completely.

Maidens Kiss: A statue in the likeness of medieval maiden going from the top of her head to the bottom of her breasts.  Her lips are puckered up to form a kiss.  Touching the lips of this statue to a frog will break a frog or transform spell; thusly turning that ugly toad to a handsome prince!  As with most items, this is a one time use as the bust will shatter after use.
Primary Fire: Apply to self. (Only if you are a frog.)
Secondary Fire: Apply to target.

Hyper: Sometimes referred to as Pep Pills, Stim-Packs, Anti-Depressants, and so on.  A person who has used this medicine wont have to worry about getting sad; unfortunately, the side effect is that they get easily infuriated due to the forced adrenaline rush; its not enough to cause Berserk, but it certainly makes them more susceptible to it.
Primary Fire:  Apply to self.
Secondary Fire:  Apply to target.
Affects:  One Target
Cost:      100 Gil.
Adds:  -Sadness.  If used again within the ten minutes of first use, youll overdose and induce +Fury

Remedy: An inhalant.  You place this in your mouth and press down on the aerosol to spray relief directly into your lungs where your blood cells will take the gaseous chemical and run it through your blood stream, ridding you of all negative statuses.
Primary Fire:  Apply to self.
Secondary Fire:  Apply to target.
Affects:  One Target
Cost:      1,000 Gil.
Adds:  Removes all negative statuses except KO, Slow, Stop, Death Sentence, Death.
